- Its role is based on its boss fight from DeadTale, where it ate and was subsequently possessed by a bootleg Flowey
- Along with Nog, Frog Flower originally came from BaseDog's DeadTale and Growstone
- Unlike in DeadTale, Frog Flower isn't possessed by a Flowey clone that speaks in broken English
