Just after talking to Dr. Lila, Lucky is caught by surprise by Azzy. Pigfguu shows up shortly after, having gotten a call from Louis about Azzy's arrival. Together they traverse Snowtop Forest, with Azzy having to solve puzzles by herself since the brothers have magic to skip over them. There's an optional nighttime scene here where Lucky and Pigfguu sit in a clearing, talking about recent events. After reaching the end of the forest, they apologize for leaving her behind and Pigfguu compliments her on her puzzle-solving skills.
Lucky and Pigfguu head home, giving Azzy time to explore Flurryville. Afterwards, she can visit their house to hangout more. If she tries to leave town, Pigfguu stops her to ask the favor of sparring with him to practice his magic. During the fight, he reveals another reason for wanting to fight Azzy, ensuring she can hold her own against stronger monsters.
While Azzy and Pigfguu are fighting, Puppy takes advantage of the situation to cause an avalanche and block the path to Wetlands. Pigfguu invites her to stay at his house until the path is cleared. With his plan to catch Azzy off-guard after the fight foiled, Puppy decides to hide for the right moment. He ends up falling asleep while doing so. Later that night, Azzy investigates the avalache to find an opening to Frostbite Caverns.
