- Sans is a naturally gifted prodigy. Everyone always praises him, which causes him to become very lazy, resting on his laurels
- Pacifist fight:
- He only dodges one attack and then the battle ends
- “wow kid, you’re really strong, guess i gotta let you pass.”
- Then Papyrus comes in
- “WHAT WAS THAT?! YOU DIDN’T EVEN TRY, SANS!”
- “I APOLOGIZE FOR MY BROTHER, HUMAN. PLEASE, ALLOW ME TO GIVE YOU AN HONEST BATTLE!”
- “welp, if my bro’s getting involved, i might was well back him up.”
- You fight both of them
- The fight consists of Sans making jokes while Papyrus tries to convince him to put effort into his attacks
- Ends with their “Super Duper Team Attack”, in which Sans surprises Papyrus by making a decent bullet pattern
- “WOWIE SANS, YOU DID IT! AND NOT JUST A REALLY COOL REGULAR ATTACK, A GENUINE SPECIAL ATTACK!”
- Papyrus isn't particularly strong, but works very hard. He still admires his brother, though.
- "MY BROTHER WAITS FOR HIS OPPONENTS TO TIRE THEMSELVES OUT FIRST, BUT THAT DOESN'T SOUND LIKE A VERY FAIR FIGHT TO ME"
- “SANS MAY BE LAZY, BUT I KNOW HE CAN DO A LOT BETTER THAN THAT BATTLE WE HAD EARLIER!”
- After the death of their children, Asgore is left in shock, which causes Toriel to make an announcement to the people. (Something about how even in tragedy they should strive for peace with the surface)
- "Did the death of our children to humans mean NOTHING to her?"
- In his anger, Asgore continually visits the Ruins in secret until a human falls. After bringing their SOUL to the Capital, the monsters are excited for the chance to break free. Toriel however is not pleased by this and the horrified look on her face causes Asgore to realize his mistake and exile himself out of fear of what's he's just started. Unfortunately, Toriel is forced to continue with this plan due to the will of the people.
- "I... I finally understood the gravity of what I'd done. I've become no better than the humans who took my own children.”
