While King Drazalor works on his war plan, Dagger develops the first artificial soul after many unsuccessful attempts, getting him promoted to work on a new project to further monsterkind. After doing many tests and logs, Dagger seals away his experiment to work on the bigger project.
Failure to seal his experiment and prepare safety precautions causes the corruption of Dagger, his team of scientists, and a section of the Underground.
The Underground shifts in Dr. Dagger's absence.
