While Azzy and Pigfguu are talking, Neo spots them and, recognizing Azzy as a human, chases her off. Meanwhile, Puppy wakes up to find Azzy's already left Flurryville, rushing to catch up to her before she gets too far. Azzy runs through the area, encountering monsters, evading Neo, and the optional sidequest with Nog. Just before she can reach the bridge connecting the Wetlands to The Inferno, Puppy pops up from the ground and ends up tripping her.
Azzy passes out while falling and gets washed downstream into Swampside, where she's found by Marisol. During this, she has a dream about Kokoro and Torben before they died.
Waking up in an unfamiliar bed, Azzy finds herself in Marisol's house. Marisol greets her and offers to give her something before she leaves. With Kokoro's insistence, Azzy goes to see what it is and immediately starts a battle on the assumption she's about to be attacked. Realizing there's no danger, the battle ends and Azzy can stay to learn more about Marisol and her backstory. Afterwards, Azzy explores Swampside and Barren Marshlands, finding more about the history of the Underground. Optionally, she can also explore an abandoned house in the middle of Barren Marshlands.
Learning that the dump leads to the exit of the Wetlands, Azzy heads that way, only to be confronted by Valor Doggy, the guard dog of the dump. After dealing with it, she heads to the end of Wetlands and confronts Neo. During the fight, Puppy overhears Neo tell Azzy about the King having 6 human SOULs, giving him an idea. After enduring Neo's attacks long enough and finding out she's friends with Pigfguu and Lucky, Azzy is allowed to pass. Afterwards, she can hangout at Neo's house.
The air is buzzing with suspense and the sound of macinery.
